Using and Cleaning of QuietOn Original

2. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN DIFFERENT TIPS INCLUDED IN THE BOX?
QuietOn Original comes with one pair of black Comply Foam tips and two pairs of silicone tips. Silicone tips have two different sizes – green ones are smaller and blue ones are larger. Silicone tips are also more durable, while the Comply Foam tips wear out after a while. Comply foam tips that are made of proprietary memory foam material and have been specially designed for QuietOn. QuietOn Original comes with size M Comply foam tips.
3. HOW TO CLEAN DEVICE?
It is important to clean the device to maintain its functionality. To maintain the performance of your QuietOns, ensure also that your ears are clean before using the earplugs since earwax may effect to earplugs’ performance. The body of the earplug can be cleaned with a dry cloth. Do not wash the device with water, solvents, toxic chemicals, detergents or any liquid as that may damage the device.
Please note that be careful so that the mesh at the end of the audio canal does not get dirty. Note that the device does not work properly if the mesh is dirty or removed.
4. What should I do if QUIETON ORIGINAL PLUGS HAVE CONSTANT BEEPING SOUND WHILE USING?
If you hear the beeping sound while using QuietOn Original, it means that plug’s acoustic canal is blocked, and the beep test sound is hearable. It is possible that the tip is not in the correct position on the plug or the device is not in the right angle in the ear and it moves a bit. You can try find a better position for the device. You can also try to test the silicon tips, those are less sensitive to cause beeping sound.
If changing the tip doesn’t help and constant beeping sound can be heard, it can be an indication that there is some dirt or ear wax on the mesh. Please check instructions for cleaning the mesh below.
5. HOW TO CLEAN THE MESH?
If constant beeping sound can be heard, it can be an indication that there is some dirt or ear wax on the mesh. When cleaning the mesh, please follow instructions below. Avoid unnecessary cleaning.
6. HOW TO CLEAN THE CHARGING CASE?
When cleaning the exterior, use dry or damp cloth. Be careful with USB port. With the interior of the charging case, remember to use only dry cotton sticks. Be careful with charging contacts, do not bend those.
7. HOW TO CLEAN THE TIPS?
The tips can be removed from the device by pulling gently. After this, the silicone tips can be washed with mild soap and water. Be sure to dry the silicone tips carefully before putting them back to earplugs. The foam tips are wiped with a soft damp cloth or dry tissue. Do not use detergents or soak the foam tips with water.
